Falafel Recipe Ideas

Our six pieces are enough for two or even three people, so you have plenty of options.

You can do similarly to what we do – make a delicious Georgian Salad and fry or bake these falafels. Georgian Salad on its own is a tasty but light meal, so falafels bring not only a lot of green goodness but also fiber and protein.

You can also use cooked falafels for a wrap you can easily create at home. Think of getting beans, coleslaw salad, tomatoes, avocado and any sauce of your choosing. Wrap it and lightly warm it up in the oven so the tortilla is a bit toasted. Take some inspiration from our Falarrito wrap, it is when falafel meets burrito!

Our falafels are gluten-free, so if it’s important for you, you can safely make a salad or a bowl with them and enjoy.

Cooking instructions: guidelines only as appliances may vary. Remove all packaging. Defrost. Place cutlets on a baking tray in a preheated oven (180C). Bake for 5 minutes. You can cook from frozen, but please increase the cooking time so schnitzels are warmed up throughout. Alternatively, heat a tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan on a medium heat. Add cutlets and cook for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally.

Schnitzel Recipe Ideas

Our frozen schnitzel cutlets are made of seitan and tofu, so they are full of protein but have a lighter texture than seitan. You can do a regular German schnitzel by defrosting, covering them in breadcrumbs and gently frying. Serve with sauerkraut, fries and sauce – you got a traditional schnitzel done quickly and without any hassle.

These un-chicken cutlets are very versatile, you can serve them with mashed potatoes and a juicy white wine sauce of your choosing. Like what we do with un-chicken piccata served with artichoke, olive and white wine sauce. It’s incredibly flavourful and fresh. You can do a quick mushroom cream sauce, traditional pesto or even some nice Georgian walnut sauce.

And surely, you can also use it as a burger patty – simply fry these cutlets and enjoy in your custom-made burger. You can do it in under 20 minutes!

Zen Burger frozen patties – 2 pcs pack

Extremely Rich in Protein

Cooking instructions: guidelines only as appliances may vary. Remove all packaging. Place burgers on a baking tray in a preheated oven (180C). Bake for 6-7 minutes. Alternatively, heat a tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan on a medium heat. Add burgers and cook for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally.  You can cook from frozen, simply add more time.

Burger Patties Recipe Ideas

Speaking about burger patties, we also offer these deliciously ‘meaty’ ones we use for our Zen burgers. They are pre-cooked, so all you need to do is to warm them up nicely and use for your burgers. But of course we can’t limit you at this, you can also use our patties to create pasta Bolognese – simply defrost patties and crumble them into very small pieces. You can then fry them in a tomato sauce, adding herbs as desired, and voila, you’ve got a rather meaty vegan pasta sauce. It is full of protein too!

Other ideas include defrosting these patties and cutting them up into bite-sized chunks and gently frying or baking to be used in salads or bowls.

You can do the same with un-chicken schnitzel cutlets too – think of something like Fajita Bowl.
